Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 31, 2026
TimeRows (https://timerows.com) is designed to work without user accounts or
sign-ups. This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored in your browser, how shared
links work, and how third-party services (including Google AdSense) operate on this site.
1. Preferences stored in your browser
Your pinned cities, custom working-hour ranges, time format (12-hour vs. 24-hour), and color
theme are saved locally in your browser's localStorage so your board is restored
when you return. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to TimeRows
database servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
2. Share links and calendar exports
- Share links: When you copy a TimeRows link (such as
/m/nyc+lonor/?c=...), the selected cities, date, and meeting slot are encoded directly in the URL parameters. Anyone with the link can view those details. - Calendar files (.ics): RFC 5545 calendar files are generated client-side in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
- Google Calendar links: Clicking "Google Calendar" opens
calendar.google.comin a new tab with the meeting title and time pre-populated in the query string, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies and Google AdSense advertising
- Third-party advertising cookies: TimeRows may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick advertising cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
- Opting out of personalized advertising: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to TimeRows and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
- How Google uses data: To learn more about how Google collects and processes data when you visit partner websites, please review How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
4. EEA, UK, and Swiss user consent (GDPR)
If you access TimeRows from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) banner will ask for your consent before any advertising or personalization cookies are set. You can review or withdraw your consent choices at any time.
5. Server logs and web fonts
- Hosting logs: Like most websites, our content delivery network and hosting infrastructure automatically record standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user-agent, referrer, and timestamp) strictly for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Web fonts: Typography is loaded via Google Fonts, which sends a standard asset request from your browser to Google's font servers.
6. Changes to this policy & contact
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. For any privacy questions or requests, please contact us at contact@timerows.com.
